
The 98th Annual Bowling Green Tourney starts on Monday. We are looking forward to a great week of basketball competition. Reminder that no activity passes are accepted for the entire week. Admission is $4 adults, $2 students, and Senior Citizens are free.


We have set the dates for Courtwarming and Senior Night for Winter Sports (Basketball, Cheer, and Poms).


Daily Announcements
January 20th -
1. Items on the lost and found table will be donated or thrown away if not picked up by the end of the day today. Please check the table and retrieve your items.
2. If you are participating in an FBLA contest/competition for Districts, please make sure to pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Robinson if you haven’t already. Turn in signed permission slips by January 23 in order to go to the District Leadership Conference.
3. Mrs. Smith will be doing ACT Prep in Ms. Armstrong’s room during CAT Time on Tuesday. This is especially important for students taking the February ACT. The focus will be on English tips/strategies.
4. All Juniors will take the ASVAB from 8:10-12:00 PM on the 25th.
A few seniors have signed up for this as well. An email will go out to the students’ teachers.
Mrs. Smith is planning to speak to juniors on Monday, January 23rd about the importance of doing well on this test.
5. FAFSA Priority Deadline for MO is January 25th
6. Pike Lincoln Tech. 23-24 year Applications are due January 25th
7. Bowling Green’s 98th annual basketball tournament is next week please come out and support your BOBCATs

10. Attention all JRS and SRS: A representative from Emery Sapp & Sons will be here on Monday at 1:30 to do a presentation in the auditorium about the company’s school-to-work program. There are many career options with this company: labor, equipment operator, engineer, accountant, business positions, etc. If you are off campus in the afternoon for Job Shadowing or Internship, please make plans to see this presentation at 1:30.
11. Freshmen: IF you want a copy of next year’s Course Description booklet to take home, please see Mrs. Smith at the end of the day today or on Monday.

1. Are you interested in investing money? Would you like to know how to make money in the Stock Market? If so, then playing the Stock Market Game is for you! In this simulation, students invest $100,000 over the course of 3 months. Whatever high school team that makes the most in this period of time can win state awards. Come to Mrs. Frederickson's room located in the glass hallway by the MS gym during CAT time today to find out more.
2. FFA Meeting will be taking place Today from 5-7. A Short Meeting, followed by a Movie Night in the Auditorium.
3. FFA Chapter Picture will be taking place tomorrow, during CAT Time. Official Dress is required to be in the picture. If you need to borrow anything, talk to Mr. Waddell.

Girls Basketball Schedule Change for Next Week:
The JV/Varsity girls game at Fulton on Friday, Jan. 20th has been changed to a varsity girls game on Saturday, Jan. 21st at Fulton HS. Start time is 12:00 pm. The JV girls already have Canton scheduled for Saturday morning.

Attention Junior and Senior Parents. First Project Prom meeting on Wednesday, January 11th at 6pm in the High School Auditorium. We are looking for parent volunteers to help organize and plan this year's event. Hope to see you there!
