JV softball beats Palmyra 4-3. Way to go Ladycats!
We received an awesome email from Mrs. Becky Orf, BGR1 Social Services Coordinator, about Senior Carson Schwenk. Carson is an A+ scholarship tutor that helps at BGE. One of the students he helps tutor gets a "Wilma the therapy dog" brain break. During this time Carson and the student take Wilma for a walk to re-focus for class. Mrs. Orf stated "Carson is always so polite and very sweet to the student, and today he came in with a new leash that he braided for Wilma. He said it took him an entire day of braiding to make it." We love hearing about the positive impact our high school students make in our school community. #BGHS #we_are_bg #gobobcats #BGBobcatPride

Congrats to the boys cross country team for bringing home the 2nd place team trophy at the QND Raider Classic in Quincy, IL last night.
The JV Football game on Monday at Wright City will start at 5:00 pm, not 6:30 pm.

Information for the Friday Night Football Game at Van Far:
There is plenty of parking at the Elementary for spectators as well and there will be a gate entrance on that side. We asked that no one park along the gravel road next to the field. There is handicap parking by the concession stand (using the same one as in previous years).
Spectators can also park at the high school and walk down the gravel path, but it is a hike. Bleachers will be located on the west side of the field.
There are bathrooms located underneath the old press box and we have other ones set up closer to the bleachers.
We asked that everyone use caution when getting up and walking around because it is still an active work zone and the ground in places is not level.
You might want to bring a lawn chair.
