1. If you are interested in attending Cardinal Career Day on Thursday, September 21, 2003 you must have FBLA dues paid. See Mrs. Robinson for more information.
2. Students if you are driving and parking on school property you must request a student parking spot. Check your student email for the electronic form to complete this for the year. If you did not receive the email please check with the office.
3. The electronic travel pass has been shared to your student email account. We recommend you bookmark this travel pass to use throughout the year. Please let the office know if you did not receive the email with the travel pass link.
4. Students please know your lunch pin when you are in the lunch line this helps the line move much faster for everyone. Your lunch pin is the last six digits of your of your MO SIS #.
5. You can make schedule changes until the end of the school day on Monday August 28th. If you have not done so please sign up on your counselor door to get those changes made as soon as possible.
6. There will be another student council meeting today in the choir room to complete the officer elections and continue homecoming planning.
7. Students are not required to purchase insurance, but must complete the registration acknowledgement on One2OneRisk.com. If a student fails to agree to the acknowledgement by September 1st their chromebook will be disabled. If a student still has not completed the acknowledgment by September 8th they will be charged a missing/stolen device fine until the device is returned.
The repair process is much the same as last year. There will be a place in the MS/HS Library for students to drop off their device. A claim will be filed and any fines will be emailed from the webpage to the student.
8. There will be an FBLA Meeting on Thursday, August 31 at CAT Time in Mrs. Robinson’s room.

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life and make them smile? Let’s give Ryan some encouraging thoughts and tokens of kindness from his hometown high school! There is a box in the counselor’s office for you to put in some short notes and American food items. The items in this box will be mailed to Ryan in Thailand once a month. Start putting your notes and packaged snacks in Ryan’s box today!

Troy Softball Tourney Update:
All games on Friday have been cancelled. Games will start at 8:00 am on Saturday. We will post the new bracket when we receive it.
The football game on Friday at Louisiana has been pushed back one hour. Kick off will be 8:00 pm. Go Bobcats

Parent/Guardian REMINDER: 2023-24 Online Registration was due Friday August 18th. Please complete this process asap. These are required yearly back-to-school forms to review and update. Online registration can be completed on the parent portal. Your username is your email address. If you do not have parent portal access, call any of the school offices to sign up.

Welcome back students!
The library is open today until 3:25. You may check out books beginning today. The library is also the location you may bring your chromebook if it is needing repair and we will see that it gets to the tech department. Reminder: Please take your chromebooks home each evening and charge them overnight so they will be ready for classroom use the next day.
The softball jamboree scheduled for tomorrow at Monroe City has been cancelled. We will not reschedule.

The JV/Varsity Softball game on Sept. 28th vs. Wellsville-Middletown has been cancelled. Wellsville does not have a team this year.
Pike Lincoln Technical School will not be in session on Monday, August 21. BGHS students who attend PLTC should report to BGHS at 11:00 am Monday, August 21.
A new safety feature has been added at Bowling Green R-1 Schools. Any non-student who enters the high school building must have some form of picture identification.
