The BGHS Music Boosters received an eleven hundred dollar donation from the estate of Jessie "Lee" Johnson, a 1951 graduate. Lee's obituary is in the Oct. 13, 2021 edition of the Bowling Green Times. Lee led an interesting and amazing life. She received her graduate degree from Columbia University and became a reference librarian for the New York City Library. It is estimated that she may have served as many as 20 million New Yorkers. It just goes to show that a BGHS education can be a great start to an incredible life and career.
