1) MOYIG legislative bill & money is due to Mr Koogler on  Friday, the 10th. Must be a check or money order made to MOYIG in the amount of $225.00. If money is not paid by the 17th you will not be allowed to attend.

2)BGHS will be starting a program called TUF:Transform UR Future. We are looking for students (grades 9-12, male AND female) that want to learn valuable leadership skills. If you are chosen to be a leader in this program, you will provide service to younger (elementary) students. We want students from all walks of life, from all people groups, even students that may not have stepped out in leadership roles in the past. Being a part of this program will allow you to be eligible for a college scholarship, you will learn valuable skills but you will also make a difference in the life of a child! See Mrs. Burditt or Mrs. Orf if you are interested."

3) There will be open gym for any boy wanting to play basketball on Tuesday, Oct 7 in the HS gym and on Thursday, Oct 9 in the MS gym. After school until 4:30. If you have not already turned a physical, it must be turned in by Nov 3.

4) Any StuCo member who wants a t-shirt needs to pay $13 to Mrs. Cannon or Ms. Lipp by this Friday.

5) October is Bullying Awareness month. Each week of the month you can participate in a different task! Will you accept the challenge?

Week of October 6th: Give someone a compliment
Week of October 13th: Sit by someone you don't know at lunch
Week of October 20th: Perform a random act of kindness
Week of October 27th: Stand up to a bully or report cyber bullying 

6) Bullying awareness t-shirt forms and money are due October 10th. Turn in money and form to Ms. Newcomer.)

7)Spanish Club members -will have a meeting Tuesday, Oct 21 at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Farabee's room to discuss the Bake Sale and to make posters for the sale.  If you can not attend this meeting please see Mrs. Farabee or Miss Lipp  for information

8)Art club will meet after school on Oct. 28th to carve pumpkins.  Please make sure your dues are paid and bring your own pumpkin to carve.  Carving kits and patterns will be provided.

9) Congratulations to the girls softball team for winning the game  against North Callaway, 2-1 and claiming EMO Conference championship. Great job ladies!!

10) Seniors: Don't forget tomorrow, Oct 8 is the 1st  Senior picture day.  If you have not signed the list on Ms O'Farrell's door please do so. Another senior picture day will be Oct 15, from 8-12:00   You do not have to purchase these pictures but they need to be taken for the yearbook. There is a $10.00 setting fee due when the picture is taken.

11) Picture retake day is Oct 15, from 8:00 to 12:00. If you did not have your picture taken in September, or if you were not happy with your pictures, you may have them retaken on that day. Bring pictures with you to turn in to photographer.
