HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) Super Fan t-shirt money are due on Thursday, Aug 28th. Cost is $13.00 each. You can turn order forms in to your CAT time teacher or to Ms Lipp in room 6

2) What is your favorite memory of Summer 2014? Bring a picture, written story, or even a post it note with a sentence or two on it describing your favorite thing from the summer. You can be as creative as you want! Submit these to the following teachers by Wed, Sept 3rd.--Freshman--Mrs Gamm-- Sophomores- Ms Smith
Juniors-- Mrs Cannon-- Senior- Mrs Thomas

3) Students: If you have a problem with your locker there is a trouble sheet on the door of the janitor closet in the first hallway (east side), please stop by and fill out the problem, your name and locker so that the problem can be taken care of.

4) Juniors wanting to take the PSAT need to see Mrs. Orf by Thursday, August 28th to sign up.  The PSAT will be given on October 15th. The cost is $14.  Although most BGHS students don't take the SAT, for those that want to, it helps prepare students for the SAT.  But even if you don't plan to take the SAT, taking the PSAT allows you to receive feedback on your strengths and weaknesses on skills necessary for college study. You can then focus your preparation on those areas that could most benefit from additional study or practice.

5) 2014 yearbooks are in. They may be picked up after school until 4:00 August 25-29. Or, call the office and let us know you're coming and it will be there waiting for you.

6) There will be a StuCo meeting at7:45 AM on Thursday in Ms. Lipp's room. Please be there on time because we have a lot of Homecoming items to discuss.

7) High school pictures will be taken on Friday, Aug 29.

8) First FCCLA meeting will be Tuesday September 2nd in Ms. Newcomer's room. You may choose to come before school at 7:45am or after school. Please come if you are interested in joining.
